Cleaner?!?!

If we go swimming...
If you are wearing a bikini...
and I am wearing a burkini...
what makes you think and actually BELIEVE that you are cleaner than me?! That you are more hygenic?!

Seriously!!!

Khawater From Japan...

When I first met Jeeej online, we talked about our dreams, especially the countries we'd like to visit together.
Japan is #1 country on his list. When he first mentioned it, I told him that it's just like any other Asian country...and I really thought that it's similar to Malaysia, which I've visited before.

Later on I met someone who had been there on a business trip. I still remember all his talks about Japan and what a great country it is! His admiration in such a country and thoughts about it made me very interested in knowing more and more...

Nowadays, I enjoy reading this blog , it's actually one of the best in describing a country in a very interesting way, I just wish that Subzero and his wife could update it more often :)

This Ramadan and since I'm in Amman, one of my favourite shows to watch is the short programme -Khawater- on MBC channel, it's all about Japan and it's people, their achievements, culture and success!!

AMAZING!!

I would really LOVE to go there with Jeeej one day :))

*For all of my friends on facebook, you can watch the show for I have already posted the link on my page :)

Ward...A teenager :)

Year 1996, My brother was born. A gift from heaven that has turned our life as a family upside down.

After raising 4 girls, my mom still wanted a little boy. And it happened. Choosing the name wasn't so hard, both my parents decided on Ward.

Whoever meets Ward decides and confirms that he's a miracle.

When my mom was pregnant she didn't do special tests and she never knew he's a Downsyndrome!

She couldn't believe it when she knew about it. I was there witnessing her reaction... It was a big shock!

But still, from day one, she decided that she is going to raise him like any other child. like any other "Normal" child.

Ward has turned 13 today. He goes to a regular school, he dances to music like there's no tomorrow, he plays basketball really well, he's a good swimmer and a very social person!

He cares a lot about everyone, he has so much love to give, it's unbelievable! He can never upset you and if he gets upset he gets over it really quick!

His friends at school love him so much and their parents are always excited to meet him and speak to him:)
He loves our friends and they love him too. He's so polite and eats really well!

Ward is one of the most precious people to me. He adds joy and fun to our daily life! I love him so much and think of him a lot while away.

Last month, before coming to Amman I talked to Jeeej about my worries. I was worried that Mariyah won't accept him and love him the way he does. I can never see him hurt or upset, it breaks my heart, and I didn't want my baby to be the reason!

From day one, he became her favourite! she throws herself on his lap, plays with him NON stop, and rides his back whenever she wants. He feeds her and spend so much time with her on the swing! He reads her favourite book and he helps me put her to sleep!

He keeps her away from danger and he carrys her around the house only because she wants him to!

One of the big reasons I love Jeeej so much is because he loves Ward as much as I do! They got along the 1st time he came to meet my family...Jeeej wore Ward's scary mask and played with him infront of my parents. It melted my heart :)
Ward, habibi...my beautiful brother...I love you so much :)

Happy birthday!

Best Friends...!!

Sarah was born one week before Mariyah.

Me and Rina felt bad because our two little

girls won't get to grow up together, enjoying

special moments like we both did 26 years ago.

This summer, we decided that our two little

girls will spend quality time together no matter

how busy we are! We will make the best of it :D

It took Rina sometime till she found

a park in Amman that has suitable

swings for babies. Once she found this

beautiful park in Abdoun, she thought

of taking me there right away, so we

could enjoy watching the girls play

together...

They both had a blast, and the whole

time I was thinking about our moms

and how special it was for them

to watch me and Rina play and

grow together!!

Yea, they slept in the swings! It

took us three trials to pick them

up while sleeping...We couldn't

believe our eyes :D

We had so much fun and I want

Mariyah to enjoy Amman as much

as I am!

I only wish we live in the same country

to be able to celebrate 3 generations of

wonderful friendships :)

* I had the camera ready for the day, but decided it would be better if I let Rina take all the shots, since her photography is amazingly professional!!
