Yesterday was so much fun...
Thanks to Mariyah, we were ready on time...
Almost ready...

The food was sooo good, and my guests were impressed

Reeeeeeeeeeally impressed!

After they left, the kitchen was so messy

I had to clean up right away,

while Mariyah was busy opening her gifts.

When jeeej got back home, he had a nice buffet style dinner;)

**apple dumplings were so yummi...no time to take pix! All gone!

**freekeh was soo good too, it's pic isn't appealing though :p

The Menu...

* Cheese Muffins.

* Garfan's recipe "the baguettes".

* Asian Noodle salad.

* Coleslaw salad.

* Fattet Magdoos.

* Potato and corn mash.

* Freekeh with baked chicken.

* Lasagna.

And Apple dumplings with vanilla ice cream, for dessert.

I'm making everything except for the freekeh :p
I didn't start yet, of course not, because the gathering is on Sat. :) We did the grocery shopping though...

Everyone suggested they bring something with them, I refused...I want to cook to impress... LOL!

Swim Party!

This is what jeeej is going to tell his doctor on next week's appointment : I removed my foot bandage! I had no choice...I was invited to a swim party :))

The journey of a thousand miles...

starts with one step......

Few days ago, she took 15 steps! She refused to take as much today, but I decided to post this video anyways...for the record.

We are STILL counting and loving it!

Thank you God:) This is so precious!

Mariyah and The Day Care

The first time I left her there, she cried a lot...and I did the same.

then the next week her crying became less ...

and it got better with time :)

Now, she spends up to 6 hours/week over there, and she is loving it:)

Now, once she sees the babysitter she jumps towards her...knowing that a lot of fun is waiting for her:)

The kids love her so much, and once she goes inside I hear them say:MARIYAH...MARIYAH!!

One day, a little girl was celebrating her birthday there with the rest of the kids and she cried for sometime because Mariyah wasn't there with her! lol

Today the babysitter sent me a picture of Mariyah while playing there and I thought of blogging about it...

I miss her so much while away from her, I get to give a few classes every week and she learns a lot over there...she even climbs on other kids so she could stand up and walk!
