Hungry?! Think Again...
Thank you God for the clothes that fit a little too snug! Because it means I have enough to eat...
this is one of the so many things I'm truly thankful for...
My parents taught me never to leave food in my plate...if I'm not hungry then I shouldn't fill it up. I'm glad I married someone who does the same and I want my baby to do the same :)
A lot of families -friends I know- end up throwing a lot of food every single night...one of my friends complained that her garbage can is filled up really quick during the day! It makes me sad.
One time, the Imam of the mosque was talking about this, how people throw a lot of food in garbage, either cooked or still canned and packed but expired...he said that IF at the end of the day we had to throw food away, we should pray that it goes to another creature -Human, animal or even an insect!-, by doing so we gain good deeds even though we threw food away, because at the end we had a good intention...I liked this way of thinking and I made sure I tell my friend about it :)
She still thanks me for it!
I watched this video today and wanted to share this thought with everyone!

EARTH, the Movie.
It's one of those movies that I recommend everyone to watch. I had to decide between two , since we only get the chance to go to the movies once a week, and I'm so glad I chose this one.
It's a Disneynature documentary movie, the cinematography is what makes it so unique and worth watching! The little details and sounds of animals are breathtaking...and the music accompanying is just amazing...
It's one of the movies that I wouldn't mind watching over and over again...I can't wait for my baby to grow and have her watch it with us! I'm sure she'd love it...especially if she turns out to be like her baba, so knowledgeable about plants and animals, and many other things of course ;)
I missed Mariyah sooo much while watching, especially in the scenes where mothers take care of their babies and guide them and support them til the end of the journey:) How no matter how hard the weather is, or how hungry they are, they'd still nurse them and take care of them! so touching and so sweeeeeet!!
My favourite scene was when the baby birds flew for the first time and landed/fell on the ground full of yellow leaves:)
While watching you can't help but think of how amazing our home is and how perfect God is!
I couldn't stop myself from saying: ya Allaaaah! The whole time.
also while watching I kept thinking: how on earth did they shoot these scenes ?! so by the end of the movie they showed us some of the techniques they used...AMAZING!
** I think I should go back to list all the movies we watch these days! I love movies and I'm so glad we're back to enjoying this hobby, just like the old days :)

Survived and full of LIFE.
I don't know why, but for some reason I am careless when it comes to plants indoors. I do love the warm touch they add to a house and it makes it full of life, but from previous experiences I decided I'm not good enough to bring more plants home.
After we moved, the extra space plus the SO MUCH LIGHT made me want to get more plants, and it's unbelievable how fast they grow now...we actually sometimes joke about how scary it is!
moral of the story... LOVE THE SUN...SUN SUN SUN :D
I started buying the fake ones, once you see them you think they're real, but then they become boring! they're just there, not MOVING!
When I got pregnant, I felt I want to give it another try, so on one of our weekend trips jeeej took me to a plant nursery, so I asked the employee there to give me the easiest plant to grow, the fastest and the kind that needs the least attention. so he gave me this

Remember Azeezeh?!
Yes! Azeezeh !! she is still alive :) and her voice is still like music to my ears...I don't listen to her when I drive to my friends' places, like those who live in Cupertino, but definitely when I go to those in Fremont! I can say I only depend on her 65% of the time :)
What's funny is that, even when I don't turn it on, I still hear it's voice in my mind saying directions "take ramp...on right...to....." "destination...ahead" :D
Yea, I am so good with memorization...
Few days ago, I was driving behind Amal to go have lunch -malfoof- at Amani's! I've been to her house only once and I remember that I parked the car at the corner of the street then, just where her house is located.
This time Amal parked a little bit further and I parked somewhere behind her and we got inside...and I thought to myself "I remember she lives right at the corner!! weird! am I really losing it?!".
We walked through the house and spent the whole time in the back yard. We had fun and had a good lunch...and then when it was time to leave, going through the house again to the main door felt weird! "there must be something different!" I thought...
And just before starting my car, I asked Amal: "Did Amani redecorate her house?!"
She started laughing so loud and called Amani and another lady to hear my question!!
It turned out that Amani HAS MOVED TO ANOTHER HOUSE IN A DIFFERENT NEIGHBOURHOOD!!
I'm losing it!!! yes...my amazing memory :(

All In One...
I have never done this before, but I don't feel like writing much! I don't know why :s but still I need to post these pix and videos :) I love posting pix and videos :)
At the Moroccan restaurant last Wed., we left before the belly dancer showed up, we had enough entertainment already!
The day after we went to the botanical gardens in Berkeley. it is a magical place...and we had a 
great time until I lost my eye glasses :( Yea...I can't live without them!!
and today I spent a lottttttttt of time with marmar in the living room, simply because she was having fun moving along the couches -aka DABKEH- :)
