Just finished moving to the new apartment...
Saying goodbye to the old place isn't easy :(
We knew we were pregnant on our first night here...
Mariyah was born here...
she had her first tooth here
and she learnt how to crawl here...
I love it,,,but it became too small once she started crawling...and it's about time we start talking instead of whispering while she is asleep :)
Moved to a new place, in the same city...on the same street...in the same building...ON the same FLOOR!! BUT on the other side...better view with lots of light!
May God bless our new home!
Mariyah is loving her OWN bedroom :)
Moving...I mean Pushing furniture without packing was really fun, especially that we had to do it at night, while Mariyah was sleeping.
It took us four nights...we used her stroller and her high chair! lol
We were wearing our Pj's! We looked like we were stealing...especially that we were so quite so we wont disturb the neighbors...
We did it...and now I'm in the old living room...clean and EMPTY!! I can't believe I am leaving the place where I've spent my best days here in the states!!
The best is yet to come...Inshallah :)

Guess who's back to teaching?!
I'm not in a hurry to get all my students back. I don't think I will ever be able to, because I have a Mariyah.
We -me and the baby- started giving classes to Iman at our place. and then the baby became so demanding during the class, so we had to fix it!
Iman's mom runs a day care at her house, Mariyah stays there -hopefully- 2 hours, 2 days a week! It all depends on my crying heart...It's just hard to leave her there!
Today was the second time...for one hour only. When I got back to pick her up I was shaking but she was holding a toy and didn't even try to jump on me like she always does! Is she hating me?! does she like it there?! I don't know...we'll see!
I have 3 students back, out of 21 !
Thank you God :)
I want 2 more...Please God! 2 more students to fill the gap :)

Zrii...what is it?!
Wednesday evening I suggested we spend our two days off at my in-laws in Auburn. For some reason visiting them charges me with a lot of positive energy and this makes me stronger and happier too! It's like visiting my home back in Jordan. We usually spend 2 nights over there, their house is so warm and relaxing:)
Every single time I go there I learn something new and I try something new as well...all about health and energy boosting. Everything I eat and drink at their house is organic and this makes me feel like my whole system is cleansed.
On Thursday afternoon we had a nice walk by the river close to their house. It was a very warm day and after we got back home I drank Zrii!
A REALLY refreshing drink with a great taste!
I saw how my father in-law, "Dr. Feel Good" is working really hard to market it, so I suggested I create a link to his website on our blog :)
He usually visits the blog and he enjoys it. He liked the idea and so from now on there will be a link with a picture of the product on the side bar of my blog. Make sure you click on it to learn more about Zrii.
When I asked him if he'd like to write a few words to publish here he said:
"Zrii is a great new health nutritional in a juice....it's main ingredient is Amalaki, wild crafted from the foothills of the Himalayas.
As well this is a great home based business.....increase your income while helping other people to do the same."
That's my FIL, Dr. Feel Good!!

Mariyah the Crawler :D
Two weeks ago Mariyah has started standing up on her own, without leaning on the wall like before. When people saw her doing so they said: she's going to miss crawling and start walking really soon! I was happy to see her doing so but at the same time I wanted her to crawl, it's so much fun chasing crawling babies - I guess :p -!.
Before, when I used to put her somewhere in the room she used to move to other spots either by flipping or by using her bottom, but today she crawled like she's been trained her whole life! hehe
Today at 2 pm, she had her lentils soup for lunch -thanks to Chef Maioush- and then we started getting ready for an appointment. I got her ready first and then put her in front of me so I can watch her while getting dressed! She crawled away from me! I couldn't believe it...I brought her back and she ran away from me again! lol
I got the camera with my heart beating so fast, I couldn't believe my eyes :$
I had to take pictures and was late for my appointment...I called jeeej right away and left him a msg about it...and once we got back home he surprised us by showing up, for 10 min.! He couldn't wait longer to see his baby crawling :)
Il hamdillah, thank God...It's no big deal for so many people, but for me it means the world!
I love you Mariyaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! :D

HATE YOUR JOB ? TRY THIS.......
When you have an ‘I Hate My Job day’ [Even if you’re retired, you sometimes have those days]
Try this out:
On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson. Be very sure you get this brand.
When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed.
Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair.
Open the package and remove the thermometer.
Now, carefully place it on a table or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken.
Now the fun part begins.
Take out the literature from the box and read it carefully.
You will notice that in small print there is a statement: ’Every Rectal Thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested and then sanitized. ’
Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times,
‘I am so glad I do not work in the thermometer quality control department at Johnson & Johnson.’
HAVE A NICE DAY; AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT IS MORE OF A PAIN IN THE _ THAN YOURS!

Sushi Baby...
We started introducing all kinds of food to our Mariyah once she became an 8 monther:)

Today she had her first California Roll! She also tried miso soup and the tofu that comes with it...
On another note, I'm trying so hard to get rid of guilty feeling for the scratches on her face...Yesterday I wasn't paying attention to her when she was trying to stand up and then fell on the Lego blocks we were playing with on the ground...There was some bleeding and now it shows and it looks so bad. I feel like crying every single time I look at her face...It's killing me.

I pray to Allah (SWT) there wont be any scar left! Thank God it wasn't worse.

2 min. away!
Soon we'll have to move to a bigger place, for this one is becoming too small with a baby moving around.
At the same time, I don't want to leave this area for it's so quiet and peaceful. and the best part is that it's only 2 min. away from a big fountain with lots of birds around. We are not allowed to feed them, but just watching them and talking to them makes my baby the happiest one on earth.
I just don't want to be far away from this:)

Meeting the midwife...
The first time I met her I knew she was going to be a great midwife! Her way of making everything about pregnancy seem normal and kinda fun made me decide to continue having her to deliver my Mariyah.
We practiced breathing together and I felt so ready for delivery to the point I got so excited about it and decided to have a totally natural one.
She was there with me when I started having contractions and joined me in the delivery room until I gave birth. She made sure I stay strong and refuse the epidural. and hamdolillah in less than 5 hours in the hospital Mariyah showed up!
After that day I had no chance at all to go visit her at her office! We lost contact. then a couple of days ago I decided it's about time she meets our 8 monther.
She loved Mariyah...she said she looks like a doll :) she held her and played and talked to her, then she hanged her picture on the wall next to the many other pictures of babies she had delivered -she calls them her babies-!
