When Jeeej went to Germany I took Mariyah to visit her baba's family in Auburn. We spent the weekend over there...I wanted to spend some time with them before coming to Amman...and we had a great time!
One day we went hiking, and it was so tiring for me carrying
my sleeping Mariyah on my back the whole time...so on our way back to my In Laws' house she woke up but was cranky...so her grampa started singing a lovely song to her...it had her name! So I thought he was making the words up, but I loved it...At home, the next morning, I heard the same song coming from the laptop!! My father in law searched for it and made me hear the real version...and then he held Mariyah and danced with her with some tears in his eyes!
It was so emotional! The long trip to Auburn was worth it...We miss you Jiddo!
I love the song so much...and I'm sure My Mariyah will love it as well :)
