A Rich Day...

This Thanksgiving by far is my favourite! On My 1st one here I met most of hubby's FAMILY, so I was trying to blend in and so I wasn't paying attention to the food and the small details of the day...

On my second one, last year...I was still pregnant with a lot of pain since my wisdom teeth were pulled out few days before...

So this year, having Mariyah with us for thanksgiving, jumping from one lap to the other made it so precious, and as for my Father In Law, he believed this Thankgiving was A Rich one, for all his daughters, sons, grandchildren and wife were gathered around one table.

The food was amazing, Turkey, Vegetables, sauces, pies and cobblers, everything was yumiii...

It was a very warm day...Can't wait for next year's ;)

The 1st Father-Daughter Conference...

Baba Jeeej and Mariyah gathered today in the living room for some serious conversation over the current state of affairs....

As we promised you tete Bassoumeh...something to keep you entertained till we come back home from Auburn!

BaMa...

Last Thursday, we had a plan to go for a photo session, we wanted to take some really nice pictures as a family but Mariyah decided to spend the day differently!! She refused to smile and was fussy, she was hungry so nothing was stopping her from sucking on her lower lip...

We had to stop the session and went out to feed her and promised to come back to continue..but then she decided it's time to start saying BABABABAB MAMAMAM BAMABAMA...it made us laugh so hard! She didn't stop...we couldn't finish the session...and ever since this is how we communicate with her...she keeps repeating the same letters and words while crying, laughing and while talking!

It's the cutest and most precious thing ever! I'm soooo proud of her...and I love her soooo much!!


One day after, I took her to the mosque, to meet up with some ladies from the school I used to work for and they were gathering in the hall way...when she started saying BAMABAMA they got excited and for a whole minute all you could hear were funny sounds coming out from them trying to encourage her more and more....BAMABAMABAMA....


We never thought our daughter would be so patriotic ;)

Like mother like daughter...

Yessss...we both love avocados!!

But I just wish there's a way I could tell this is a good one to buy...Every time I buy one is like I'm buying a batteeekha "watermelon"!! ya bitseeb ya bitkheeb :p

Mochiiiii....

The first time I tried it was last week at Cherry, sushi place. It tasted different but really good. On the same day we went grocery shopping and found some at Trader Joe's :D

Vanilla, Mango & Strawberry so far ;p

I love it!

I don't think I'll ask for any other kind of ice cream anymore...well, maybe cheese cake ice cream :p
