35*35

35 weeks so far...and 35 days to go!!

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay :D

Thank you God:)

I'm so Happy il hamdillah and feeling good:) and I wish all the people -who know me and those who don't- all the happiness on earth ! Because everybody deserves to be happy!

I love you and I love everything :)

Thursday night...we watched the movie "What babies want" at my in-laws', a movie with some touching and captivating stories, that confirm how babies are aware even before they are brought into this world!

How babies should be loved and treated well, as humans and not as numbers or "things"...and how the first procedures applied to them once they are born may affect their entire life!

The fact that the USA has the largest number of kids -between the age (5-17)- committing suicide among many other countries is horrible!
Many of the reasons behind this high number are accumulated since childbirth...how rejection and abandonment may cause a lot of mental problems through out the peoples' lives...

I believe it's a must see movie...Noah Wyle's the narrator and he did a great job!

Another swimming class?!

So yesterday was our day off...our only day off! We spent the whole week planning for it...to make the best of it!

On the top of our to do list was swimming in the complex! It's summer time, and I have my swimming suit ready :p We tried to finish all the shopping -for the baby- and eating out as fast as we could, so we wont miss the sun for the swim!

We came back home...changed really quick, got the towels...and decided not to take anything with us...no keys, no cell phones...nothing!

We left,,,I asked Jeeej teasing him: you didn't lock us out, did you!? ;)

His face became red and black and everything...

He locked us out!

we were wearing our swimming suits, and had the towels, and that's it :D We couldn't call anyone, we couldn't leave the building, because we didn't have the chip to come back in!
Couldn't even go to the swimming pool without the chip!

I felt homeless and was laughing the whole time! Thank God for the couches in the lobby...I had to lay down somewhere killing time waiting for a miracle, like seeing the building's manager before he leaves the building! Jeeej saw his car driving outside and followed him, and I stayed inside!

They both looked for a spare key for our place but didn't find one! So the manager ended up calling someone from a company to come and open it for us! When the guy came after 30 minutes or so, he told hubby that he is sooooo busy and on the road the whole time opening the doors for people who are locked out! And that we were lucky to find him available for us!

The funny part was when the manager said to us: wait until you -one day- forget your baby somewhere...or the diaper bag, or the milk bottles...or anything that is related to your baby...

he told us that this is a kind of practice for us before the baby arrives :D

It wasn't a cheap practice! We ended up paying almost $80 to have the door opened for us!!

Did we swim at the end?! oh, yes we did! and the sun was still up but the water was FREEEEEZING!!!

Hope that Baby X wasn't bothered by the freezing water...I wonder if I'll be able to swim again in such cold water....maybe after I give birth it will be warm enough for both of us...me and Baby X :)

Fifty...

In fifty days I will be a mother!!!

How do I feel?!

I have NO idea!

Excited...
Worried...
Anxious...
Ready...
Happy...
Scared...
Hungry...
Confused...
Excited again!

I feel there are tons of things I want to do before she arrives...trying to say good bye to my "freedom" but at the same time, knowing that I will be enjoying life differently when she is here, I think again and decide to relax and take it easy...

Shopping and getting ready for the new one is not done yet! It'll never be done...I mean there will always be more stuff to get...
I just hope we'll have the basic stuff ready by the time she arrives :)

The fact that mama won't be able to make it and be here for me when I give birth is so confusing...but I try to think about the bright side...It's going to be OK! Jeeej is going to be here for me...and inshallah we'll both learn and experience the whole thing by ourselves! Learning the hard way is the best, No?!

50 days...and we'll be born again! This time as parents, not babies!

Pray for us :)

Going International...

So I gave 3 classes today...
The first was at a Bengali house, the second at an Indian house and the last was at a Pakistani house...

The three families were getting dinner ready while I was there...I'm glad I wasn't hungry or anything... I always make sure I eat before I leave home for teaching :D

Mothers cooking while I'm teaching their kids happens often, but for some reason, the smell today was SUPER that it stuck to me, big time!! At the three houses...Bengali, Indian and Pakistani meals were prepared and dinner shall be enjoyed inshallah :D

On my way back home...I could smell Asian food on my scarf...jacket and even my purse :s

In few minutes, I'll start cooking a middle eastern dish -Ma'loobeh-, and if Jeeej is lucky enough today I'll find sometime to take a shower before he comes...or else he'll be smelling international smells just by stepping inside our home :s !!

Best Parents...

You know you have the best parents on earth when they spoil your beloved friends back home...

Our best friends here, had to go to Amman for a family emergency a couple of months ago. My parents made sure they go visit them at their place...and invite them for lunch last weekend!

I heard that my family had spent good times with them and their little baby Ibrahim.
Our friends called us today and told us they had a blast with my family :D This makes me feel happy, proud and thankful !

Me and Jeeej miss them so much and can't wait to have them back here soon this week inshallah :)

Why Blogging?!

Noura has tagged me, asking me why do I blog!

I couldn't find a better answer than the words of my First Post here in this blog!

Getting comments and warm wishes from many virtual friends make the whole blogging experience more fun...

My answer in few words would simply be: This blog is my Diary book...
