5 things you DON'T know about MAIOUSH!
When I first started telling my friends that I'm visiting my friend in LA...They were like: that's nice! When was the last time you saw her!?My answer was: Never!!!
They were shocked! How could I visit someone I've never met in my life?! How can I trust a friend I've never seen and talked to face to face before!! How could I stay at her place for 2 nights?!
I was relaxed...
I knew I was visiting a friend who's never hesitated to help me out since I started finding my way in a far away country!
She was always there for me, either online chatting or picking up my calls...ANYTIME! Whether it was after midnight or just before sunrise...or even during an earthquake ;)
When it comes to people I communicate with online, I always believe my heart...I knew she was going to be as nice as she has always been on the phone...a friend who makes me feel I'm in Jordan every single time I hear her stories and laughs!
Once I saw her in the airport, I felt I've known her forever! We didn't stop talking and once I stepped into her house, I felt home right away! She has a super mom who made me feel comfortable...who spoiled me to DEATH!!!
She has a super family, mushallah...they all made me feel home...and I just can't be more thankful to God for being so lucky to have a home now in LA, can't be more thankful to blogging and of course to Qwaider Planet who made us meet one year ago!
Maioush is very well known in the blogging world...What you read from Maioush is what you REALLY see!! It's amazing! hehe...
5 things you don't know about her:
1- She is NOT that tall!! She keeps saying that she is too tall and stuff, but I found her height pretty normal! I was picturing myself meeting a really really tall girl but once I saw her I was like: You are not too tall! :d hehe
2- When she laughs...SHE CRIES! It is sooo hard to stop her tears! hahaha...I never knew about it,,,She would always laugh on the phone but with tears!?!?
3- She always used to make fun of me how I lose my way while driving and how I depend so much on my navi., well, she is THE SAME!!! but she just doesn't believe it and denies it :D and she hates the navi.!!
4- She is her mommy's spoiled girl!! Whenever she posts about something she cooked or cleaned, consider it a miracle!!! I saw her brothers reaction when they saw her cutting Vegetables in the kitchen...they were shocked :p hehehe
5- She eats MORE than what a 6 months pregnant woman does!!!! I swear she does! and it doesn't show :(
I had an amazing time there...a lot of food there and the visit to the observatory was awesome!
Thank you Maioush and family for the amazing weekend! You were just great...and remember you have a home in Santa Clara now :)
Today...I'm "cooking" mahashi...tomorrow msakhan, later on shishbarak, and then some kibbeh with tabbouleh, and of course there's always warbat for desserts!!!

ALLLLLLL Prepared by her mom...for me and Jeeeeeeeeeeeeej!!!
P.S: whenever you read a post about her two cousins "the twin" believe how much she loves them and how much she ADORES yusuf!!

NObody has tagged me :(
None! No one!!!
I've read every single post titled "6 things to do before becoming 18" EVERY single post...and for some reason no body has tagged me :(
It doesn't feel good at all ! I was looking for my name between the names...didn't find it anywhere !
Now, even if anyone tags me, I'm not going to answer it! NOT because I'm out of answers...BUT because......Just because....
Enjoy being tagged and tagging each other MY FRIENDS

I still can't believe it!
Naheel, my student for almost one year now...started reading the Quran:)
she is only 6 yrs old from Pakistan and when I started teaching her, we started from scratch! I mean...from alif ba2 ta2!!
Today, she reached sourat al-shar7! We started backwards upon her mom's request !
When I listen to her reading I keep thinking: Am I dreaming or what?!
She is sooo adorable mushallah...the way she pronouces "ikhfa2 and iqlab"! and it's sooo funny how much she enjoys the madd...and how she looses her breath during it!
I'm just so happy for her il hamdillah...I hope we can finish a lot of souras together before my due date:)
My other student from Bangladesh, Tausif, who is 11 yrs old is about to finish reading the Quran! I'm so happy for him but I'm just happier for Naheel, because when I started teaching Tausif, we didn't start from scratch..he had a sheikh teaching him how to read before...
He has 2 more classes to go...and his parents promised him a big party once he's done...they call it "Ameen" party! So sweet of them....
Oh!! and I'll be invited :D

Girl ----->Boy!!!!
Few weeks ago, I was walking between classes at school, and a parent with her young son stopped me there after she noticed my bump!

Are you pregnant!??!
Seems so ;)
Mushallah! Mubarak!! How many weeks so far?!

Thank you :) 23 weeks, il hamdillah!
Is it a boy or a girl!?
it's a girrrrrrrrl!!!!
Are you sure?!
Yea, My doctor said she is 97% sure!!!!
Pointing at her son, she said: You see this little boy!?
Yea! What about him!?!
Well, He was a 100% GIRL!!!
loooooooooooool....
She said: Do not start shopping! Don't get pink colors...don't choose names! Nothing!!!
then she said: We are now in the process of changing his name from a girl's name to a boy's one because soon he'll start going to school!
His name is Rameen! And in their culture it's a girl's name! When he was born they had no boys names in their minds! and they had to name him something before leaving the hospital here, so they named him Rameen! They call him something else now...
That was sooo funny...I hear a lot about such mistakes, but this was the funniest!
My Husband's brother was thought to be a girl as well! His mom bought everything pink in the world for him...the decorations, and she painted the walls and stuff...and when he came out, He was a boy! hehe...his mom had to dye EVERYTHING in blue!
As for me, I don't know...I -deep inside- feel and know it's a girl! I even started talking to her using a girl's name! I just can't imagine myself talking to her as a boy later on :s

March 21st seems to be sooo far away! I can't wait to be 10000% sure it's A GIRRRRRRRRLL!!!

Caramel in CA :)
When he used to visit me in Amman, there was no way to convince him to go watch Arabic movies! No way! We used to go to the movies a lot back there, and we still do...
I was not sure about him joining me to watch Sukkar Banat once it arrives here, But to my surprise, once I told him about it yesterday, he said -right away!- : Yea!! Why not!! :D
I couldn't believe it,,,I actually was planning to ask a friend or two of mine to join me in case he didn't want to...
But I am soooo glad he went with me :)
We loved it!!! There were some Arabs in the theater and many non Arabs of course! I couldn't believe my eyes when I was reading Arabic on the screen... I have been waiting for it to arrive here since ever...I read all the previews about it and they all got me excited :)
A movie full of emotions, and some tears here and there!
A movie that brought back some nice memories of my childhood :ppp
Now, I just can't wait till Capt. Abu Raed -the Jordanian movie- arrives CA :) Would be really great!!!

One BIG family :D
When I first got my car here and started driving, I began to notice the plates and the family car stickers on other peoples' cars! Some of the stickers looked really funny...The number sometimes reached 5 and 7! Big families of course...sometimes people add the images of their dogs and cats being part of their family!!
It was then when I started dreaming of having a baby one day to add it's image along with jeej's and mine :)
Well, last month Jeeej surprised me with the most adorable stickers ever for my car:D and I couldn't wait to stick them and take pictures of them...

One Big FAMILY... Mushallah :D
