Heart beats...slow down please!!!

A sudden visit to Auburn yesterday morning! I had to drive. it's almost 3 hours away...
For check up and treatment...
we ended up spending the whole day there...and it was a very tough one...
Hope your heart beats slow down in no time! and Hope it turns out to be a nightmare we wont experience again! never ever again :)
More check ups to do...and we'll get through it...together!

Bigger!!

It's funny how all my life I worked hard on making sure not to gain a lot of weight, to look skinnier in whatever I wear...While now, all I'm thinking about is: When will I grow bigger and bigger?? :D

Baby Shower, anyone?!

A couple of months ago, I was at the school's office, talking to the pregnant teacher Ghadir, about pregnancy of course!

I asked her: Have you had any shower party before while living here? she said: yea!! 3 baby showers for my kids!!

So I asked: when should I start preparing for mine?!!??!

she started laughing!! I was laughing with her but I was confused!! What are you laughing about!?

She asked: Have you asked anyone before about this!? I said: NO!! WHY?!

She said: YOU don't plan for your baby shower! You should be relaxing and enjoying time! One of your close friends should plan one for u!!

Amal and Joe, My closest friends here are going to Amman spring time! just before I deliver my baby:(

I started loosing hope...and I still am!!!

My manager talked to me about it the other week...she said: "I would love to make a party for you, because you are alone and new here! But you see, there are many other parents and teachers who are pregnant now, so I don't want anyone to say, the school's manager made a party for her and not for any of us! I don't want the party to be in the name of the school...so make sure, to give your friends, or whoever is making the party for you my phone number, and I'll make sure I give them the numbers of those who are close to you at the school"!

I smiled...and thought: MY FRIENDS??!!!!

When Nour was here, we were invited to Ghadir's baby shower...and there were so many women there...a very nice and successful party! funny games and yummi foods...and many nice women to meet!
We were the youngest but we had fun!

I was talking to Maioush the other day and asked her if she could plan a party for me!! so she came up with this brilliant idea!!

She suggested a "Bloggers baby shower"!! Where we can play games and where I will make a list of things I need "gifts" for the baby :$

Now this is really cool...Nothing would be for real...I don't want people to freak out thinking of buying me the gifts or something...it's just for fun!!! It's gonna take place in March or early April ;)

I'm so desperate people!! I want a party!! I'm sure if I keep nagging, I'll have my Jeeej plan one for me :p

I almost forgot the password of my account here :s Really, it's been a while! I haven't been totally away, I mean, I had time every once in a while to check my favourite blogs, but I made sure not to spend a lot of time reading and commenting, or else, it could have taken me forever! Plus I couldn't have been able to travel around CA in 18 days ;)

Nourty was here! We've been always close! But her visit made us even closer...we had our stupid arguments, but it's only because we are sisters, and it's her way of spicing up life and making sure it doesn't get boring, right?! ;)

She's been always there for me, to the extent that I started to believe that our relationship while being far away from each other is way better than living under the same roof, until she came and proved me wrong :p

I love you Nour! I really really didn't know how much I needed you to be beside me at this time until I saw you in the airport!! When I gave you a hug I felt I'm hugging the whole family back in Amman! While talking to you, I felt I'm talking to you all back there! Driving, cooking, visits, shopping and even eating is not the same after you left -unless Jeeej is with me :p-

I'm sooo so lucky to have you as my sister, and I could swear that a girl who doesn't have a sister like you is actually unfortunate! a family without a Nour is simply different!!

Just remember PLEEEEEEASE! We live in SANTA CLAAAAAAAARAAAAAA...not in San Jose!

Some of them were really close, but who cares...I drove to most of these cities for the very first time without Jeeej, and you drove on highway 17 all the way back from Santa Cruz and the CA 1 drive made you sickkkkkkk till you met Uncle Berry in SF! hehehe...

Jamba Juice is still the best, I don't care about your reaction:p and I just had some of your nescafe here ;) I miss you sis, and I wish you had stayed longer, it's never enough I know...but still, I always ask for more :p I'm just glad you came during my best Trimester, I'm glad you got to hear the heart beats inside my belly! I'm so happy you got to feel her moving inside on the 13th while watching "There will be Blood" :D

I could go on and on writing about the 18 days you have spent with me, But I just have to stop! I'm back to my normal life, it didn't take me a lot of time to get back to it, just buckets of tears the day you left me! and Jeeej's assistance in calming me down!

Make sure you visit me again...If you do, I promise I'll take you to LA, and I'll cook more than once for you :D
