Year 1982 I was born and Rina was there...A life time friend. We grew up together, played together, laughed together, cried together, walked together, travelled together and always had fun together. Until it was time for me to say good bye, last September. A month ago, she surprised me telling me that she will be visiting me in San Jose for a week on March. Nothing was for sure...but I kept praying it would work out, for I missed her so much and I missed having a friend around me!! A girl, in my age, who speaks Arabic and understands me well!! We did a looooooot of talking:) Having all this here was just amazing!!

When she left on Thursday, it was har
d for me, it happened so fast that I didn't want her to leave that soon, but she just had to! Yesterday, Friday, while I was driving listening to the Arabic songs she brought from home, I felt so lonely, for I got used to her driving with me! Today I'm feeling much better...back to my usual life...I gave a class and will give another one in a couple of hours:) When she was here, I had to cancel all my classes and working hours at the school, I didn't check my e mails, didn't chat or write anyone, not even on my blog!! and it was all worth it!
Rina's visit was perfectly timed! I'm so blessed I have a friend to come and visit me over here, bringing the smell of Amman with her. I cried when she left, but now I'm just so excited about my visit to Amman this July Inshallah, to see everyone and Rina!
I love you Rina, my 4th sister, Thank you so
much :)

Rina came here last Sunday, and brought friendship joy back to my life. Before she came, I had in mind all the places I wanted to take her to, my favourite places! Nothing was planned, and that is what made it all perfect! I took her to the lake to feed ducks, she tried my favorite burrito, Jeeej did his master piece -steaks- for us, we went to Micheal's, Santana row, I made Apple cream pie for her...and so many other things!! Now when I think of it all, I still can't believe she was here!

We did a lot of shopping, husbandi was so nice and understanding, he even took Wednesday off just to take us on a trip to Monterey, since the three of us have been to San Fransisco before. We visited the aquarium there and then had a long breathtaking drive on the 17th mile road, we took a lot of pictures. We drove by the Pacific, she drove my car too:)
