Arabs & Food.

Today was my second -big- meeting at school. The administration started planning for it earlier this month...Of course, several short meetings had to be held during the last couple of weeks to get EVERYTHING organized and ready on time!

Now, EVERYTHING = FOOD!

The most important topic on the agenda is "REFRESHMENTS"!! What are we going to serve?! Who is bringing Muffins?! What about bagels!? Don't forget to get cheese...You get the plates and cups...And Nida'a...DO NOT forget to ask the board members to bring COFFEE & TEA!!!

Yesterday, they made me send the most embarrassing e-mail in my whole life...Dear Board Members, help us serve the best refreshment, Please don't forget to bring coffee and tea!!

Well, we all love food and eating... BUT spending MOST of the time during the preparations for the meeting, discussing food issues instead of students and staff issues is a shame!!

It was NOT a surprise after all that the first 20 min. of the parents meeting today were wasted trying to find the head projector and the microphone to start the presentations...
